After many years establishing the reputation of this unique directory to Toll Fermentation facilities, the editorship,
publication and other rights have been transferred from Candida to Bio-Endevours International. However, the underlying format
and approach remains largely unchanged, while the content is fully updated.
With this directory you can:
- Get a global view (18 countries) of large & small tolling facilities
- Find where to produce cGMP biopharmaceuticals for clinical trials
- Discover facilities that do mammalian or plant cell culture
- Identify facilities for large volume production of microbial fermentation products: food/feed
ingredients, biopesticides, enzymes
- Screen facilities to fit a location, scale or regulatory need
- Explore the details a pertinent facility in a directory profile or via
The facility's Internet URL
The provided telephone or fax numbers
E-mail link to facility contact person or group.
- Move quickly toward a tolling contract with promising candidates
- Search for your criteria via an extensive cross-index
- Get Updates via the Internet

Preface
Bio-Endeavors International has assumed the role of publisher of this directory,
beginning with this 7th edition. Past editions were published by Candida Corporation and edited
by Dr. Richard Mateles. It became apparent in developing this new edition, how much effort he spent at
updating and ensuring the accuracy of each entry.
Contract manufacture or tolling of bioproducts, produced via fermentation, mammalian, insect or plant cell culture,
fills an important industry need. There are circumstances where, because of timing or facility limitations, a company
does not have facilities needed to expand production, introduce a new product, scale up a production step,
or simply secure initial quantities of a product for testing. This unique directory provides a starting point for locating,
screening and selecting tolling services to fill such needs.
For a new edition, it is surprising how much change occurs over the biennial publication period.
Contract biomanufacturing service businesses are sold, close, reemerge under new ownership,
expand or drop services, grow in capabilities, change names, locations, contact numbers, etc., all of which
dictates the need for updating. As was done for the 6th and earlier editions, Bio-Endeavors will offer
purchasers, via its website, a listing of changes insofar that they are obtainable.
